EHeads YEG: Tindahan ni Aling Nena Introduction

Hello mga ka-EHeads and welcome to Introduction: Mga Tindahan ni Aling Nena.

We are excited to set the stage for the Biggest Edmonton Filipino Music Event Outside of the Philippines with Ang Huling El Bimbo the Eraserheads Live in Alberta Reunion Concert 2023 (Eraserheads Alberta 2023.) This monumental event happening on Saturday, 10 June 2023 will celebrate and showcase the richness of the Filipino culture in Alberta and feature the best of Edmonton Filipino music can offer.

Eraserheads – also known as EHeads is one of the most important artists in the history of Filipino Rock Music. The Eraserheads are one of the most important artists in the history of Pinoy rock music. Often described as “The Beatles of the Philippines, the Eraserheads brought their melodic guitar rock and keen wit from Manila’s underground scene and into the mainstream. The group can be compared to in how they knocked superficial pop from the airwaves and the charts, triggering a wave of commercial acceptance for alternative music.

Mga Tindahan ni Aling Nena is an outdoor market and food park happening at the Varsity Field of the University of Alberta, steps aways to the Universiade Pavilion (Butterdome) on Saturday, 10 June 2023 from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

As we anticipate fans arriving early and for our out of town tans – we would like to create a space to welcome everyone to our outdoor market and food park. Enjoy various food trucks, food stalls, local vendors and other pre-event activities.

This meeting will serve as an introduction and to address any questions you may have in regards to the event. If you can not join us in person, a link to Google Meet will be sent 2 days prior to the in-person event.

Our company and most of our partners are participating or are open under Alberta’s Restrictions Exemptions Program. To attend events*: Masks securely covering the mouth and nose must be worn by all guests aged 2 and older at all times while in the venue, except while eating or drinking. Guests ages 12 and older will be requested to provide their paper or digital proof of vaccination status (QR Code), along with approved ID, or provide proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service, or original vaccine medical exemption letter, along with approved ID, at the event promoter's discretion. Any guest 12 years or older who is unable to provide the required items will be denied entry, and tickets purchased are 100% non-refundable.
